Loxahatchee River Trip Weekday

THIS TRIP IS FOR VERY EXPERIENCED KAYAKERS ONLY.
This is the same trip as Saturday, January 7, but this one will be during the week for those who can do that. After doing the January 7 paddle, I’m changing this to a paddle to go to the 2nd dam and back. However, if anyone wants to do the entire river, make arrangements with fellow paddlers ahead of the trip. Don’t do it on your own! IF YOU WANT TO TRAVERSE THE ENTIRE RIVER, YOU’LLL NEED TO SHUTTLE VEHICLES TO THE STATE PARK BEFORE KAYAKING. IT TAKES WELL OVER AN HOUR TO SHUTTLE CARS AND GET BACK TO RIVERBEND. We’ll start our paddle from Riverbend Park at 10:00, so plan accordingly. For those of us going only to the second dam, we’ll turn around then and paddle against the current back to Riverbend. You’ll still get to paddle over the first dam if you want to try it. Those that plan to keep going will continue down the river to Jonathan Dickinson State Park where your cars will be parked.
The state park is 35 minutes away and there is an entrance fee and a parking fee, so we need to keep this in mind when shuttling vehicles.
