Sunset & Holiday Lights on the Grand Canal

Let’s end the year with a paddle on the Grand Canal in Satellite Beach. Meet at Oars & Paddles in Indian Harbour Beach, enjoy the sunset as we paddle up the Grand Canal to Lake Shepard, then see all the houses decorated with holiday lights on the way back to Oars & Paddles. We’ll have an après paddle early New Year’s celebration at Oars & Paddles when we return. Bring your own drinks and snacks to share. Plates and plasticware will be provided.

The total trip should be about 6 miles. Meet at the park at 4:30 to be on the water by 4:45. You will need to have a light on your kayak so others can see you – if you want to be festive, get some battery-operated Christmas lights and decorate your kayak/sup!
