**Florida Wildlife Hospital Private Tour**
Since 1973 the Florida Wildlife Hospital (FWH) has rescued, rehabilitated, and released thousands of sick, injured, and orphaned native Florida animals in Brevard County. To celebrate their 50th anniversary FWH is offering a special sneak peak of what goes on behind the hospital doors.
SC Audubon will join members of Space Coast Friends of FL Master Naturalists on a private, behind the scenes tour through the hospital and see the specialized enclosures on FWH’s five acre property. The tour will include information about patient diets, treatments, and types of animals in FWH’s care.
Due to the limited size of the patient care areas this tour is limited to 10 people plus our trip leader. **Space Coast Audubon has 3 slots.** Cost is $15 (**paid in cash at the door to the trip leader)**. Florida Wildlife Hospital members receive a discount and pay only $10 (you can join the day of our tour and receive your discount). **Please note that you are committing to the $15 fee (or $10 for FWH members) when you register and will be requested to submit the fee if you cancel your reservation, unless an alternate person takes your place.**
Plan to arrive at 10:15am to check in. Parking can take a few minutes as there are limited spaces. The church next door (look for the Giant Red Cross) may have a few spaces available if they do not have any services or programs going on.
