Samsons Island Open House – visit our booth and enjoy the island

Event is hosted by the Satellite Beach Recreation organization. Nature festivities will occur on the island and a vendor market will be held at City Hall. Transport to the island is via a pontoon boat behind the Fire Station. **Participants will need to register at 321-773-6458 or http://www.satellitebeachrecreation.org to reserve a place on the boat.**

Samsons Island is a 52 acre nature park located in the Banana River and utilized for passive recreation. The annual Open House showcases the many activities the island can be used for such as camping, bird watching, hiking, kayaking and more. Advance registration on the Satellite Beach Recreation website is requested to reserve a place on the boat to be transported to the island. Free, family friendly event including lots of nature related groups with information and activities.
