**Hoo is Coming to Dinner??**
Our evening will start with a brief introduction and some fun facts about owls found in Florida. As the sun starts to set, and nocturnal creatures are thinking about what prey could be on the menu for their evening meal, we will embark on a hike through the woods. Along the trail the group will look and listen for owls. We will turn off our headlamps, and put on our detective hats, as we gather in an open air classroom to transform into nature sleuths. Our mission will be to solve the Great Owl Pellet Enigma by decoding the secrets hidden inside bones, feathers, fur, insects and other indigestible materials.
This gathering promises to be an evening of mystery and discovery, where the secrets of owl predation take center stage.
Logistics:
Sams House officially closes at 5pm. Our event is an after hours private gathering. Please arrive by 4:45pm to allow time to park and check in.
