** Waitlist Full ** Birds, Butterflies & Wildflowers Field Trip:Tosohatchee WMA

Combining the plant, insect and birding expertise of our 3 field trip leaders the group will be on the lookout for butterflies, wildflowers and birds. The trip be mostly driving, with short walks, while enjoying a variety of habitats and wildlife diversity in this 28,000 acre property. Each car will have a radio to share sightings and announce stopping points. Please plan to arrive by 0815 to allow time to pay your $3 entrance fee and use the restroom next to the Pay Station prior to meeting the Trip Leaders in the dirt parking lot across the road from the Hunter Check In station.

Park Fee: Daily entrance fee is **$3 per person** (this is a rate change, as it used to be a per vehicle fee). You’ll need to bring exact cash. Free entrance if you are a WMA annual pass holders (https://myfwc.com/license/recreational/how-to-order/)

Accessibility: This trip is primarily driving, with short walks at stopping points. The route will be adjusted based on the status of the hurricane repairs (bridge replacement).

Restrooms: Restroom structure is located directly next to the Pay Station at the entrance. There are also restrooms near the Youth Camp and in the parking area by Lake Charlie.

What to Bring: Water, refreshments, snacks, bug repellent, and binoculars. Direct message host if you need a loaner pair of binoculars.
