Emerald Cut – Friends of Wekiva River Paddle – King’s Landing

This is a joint event with the Friends of Wekiva River. We will meet at 7:45 am (I need to see the whites of your eyes at this time) at King’s Landing, 5722 Baptist Camp RD., Apopka , FL 32712. They don’t officially open until 8 am, but we need to be launched and on the water by 8:15 am. Please bring $5 cash for the launch fee.

Here is the description from the FOWR website:
We will be paddling against the current along Emerald Cut…one the most beautiful paddles in Central Florida! We will turn around and paddle downstream back to King’s Landing and then on down the Rock Springs Run for about 1 hour, then back up tream to return to King’s Landing.

Bringing water, snacks, a picnic lunch, hat, sunscreen, a dry bag for your cell phone, PFD, whistle, water shoes and anything else that will make your paddle comfortable is recommended!
